Medical Professional Liability Insurance
MMJUARI provides insurance coverage for physicians, surgeons, podiatrists, chiropractors, dentists, nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals for limits not to exceed $1 million per medical incident and $3 million annual aggregate. Personal Injury, Partnership Liability, Vicarious Liability, and Extended Reporting Endorsements (tail coverage) are also available. Prior Acts Coverage is only available if your prior carrier is unable to provide tail coverage. To be eligible for coverage, a healthcare provider must:
- Be licensed in the State of Rhode Island
- Operate a professional healthcare practice located in Rhode Island
- Generate a minimum of 51% of revenue in Rhode Island
Medical Facilities Professional Liability Insurance
MMJUARI provides insurance coverage for hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, convalescent or nursing homes, outpatient clinics, blood banks, medical laboratories, and diagnostic imaging centers for limits not to exceed $1 million per medical incident and $3 million annual aggregate. Vicarious Liability and Extended Reporting Endorsements (tail coverage) are also available. Prior Acts Coverage is only available if your prior carrier is unable to provide tail coverage. To be eligible for coverage, a healthcare provider must:
- Be licensed in the State of Rhode Island
- Operate a professional healthcare practice located solely in Rhode Island
- Generate a minimum of 51% of revenue in Rhode Island
Commercial General Liability Insurance
MMJUARI provides general liability coverage only to those policyholders who also purchase medical professional liability insurance from the MMJUARI, for limits of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million general policy aggregate only.
